Frequently asked questions about staying at
Coastal Domain Guest Houses

Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept payment via credit card (Mastercard, VISA or Bankcard only), cheque or direct deposit. Check our BOOKINGS page for all the information.

Q: Check in and out times?

A: Check in time is from 2pm onwards on the day of your arrival. Check out time is 10am on the morning of your departure date, however this is only if we have a back to back booking. We will always let you stay until 5pm if we possibly can.

Q: Do I need to bring linen?

A: We supply fresh crisp linen for up to 6 guests at no extra cost. Beds are fully made up for your arrival and clean towels layed out ready for use.

Q: How many guests do the houses accommodate?

A: Each guest house can sleep up to six guests comfortably. Upon special request we can organise two extra mattresses to be placed on the floor for children only.

Q: What if I have more than six adults wanting to stay?

A: As we have two houses back to back we can sleep up to twelve guests at the same time (six in each house). This is a great way to have all your friends or family together with out being too crowded.

Q: Do I have to collect a key?

A: No you don't! We have made it very easy for you to access the house by using the key-safes installed on the properties. We will text to your mobile an access code (or by email or phone if required) on the morning of your arrival gaining you entry into the house. This lets you arrive and depart anytime.

Q: Do you have internet access?

A: Yes we have WIFI internet access in both houses at no cost to you. Just bring your lap top and go surfing.

Q: Do you provide breakfast?

A: Coastal Domain can make your stay even more special by pre-delivering a holiday arrival package to your Guest House. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Please ask us about our packages in your enquiry. (Packages are an additional fee).

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Our guest houses are well set up for your holiday needs. We are self-catered, so you will need to bring food, but most kitchen items are in arms reach. Naturally bring your suitcase with your holiday gear and toiletries, and perhaps any sporting/beach equipment you might like. We provide basic cleaning items for the kitchen, if you are staying for a while you may want to bring laundry powders etc to use in the laundry.

Q: Can you walk to the beach?

A: Yes, the Jan Juc beach is about a 10 minute walk along the cliff tops. There are a number of stairs involved to get onto the beach though, so on a hot day I don't suggest it for small children.
